I sat there for 4 hours taking the contemptible test just to be sneered at. I refuse this part of America.
I will receive my score in a couple of weeks so make sure to note that this isn't the end of the nightmare known as the SAT. Anything above a 1600 and we have a deal. Once I came back home I immediately calculated my score (roughly) and I should get between a 1600-1700, maybe even 1800 if I am being extremely generous. But nothing outstanding. I don't care anymore. If I get a lower end score so be it. I don't want to go through that exam ever again.
I wont talk about this until my scores come in, so please don't talk about it around me. I really do hate the SAT. I don't hate that many things so consider yourself privileged SAT.
Positive- No more SAT. I can finally focus on Summer!!
Negative- The final score is a toss up considering my less than satisfying performance.
Once I receive my 1700 (please...PLEASE) in a couple of weeks the SAT still looms around in my head shaving precious days of my life away.......
Until then......
Yay!! super job Michael. I'm pretty sure i hated the SAT too after taking it. I've been talking to some friends about high school tests and stuff, and the conclusion is, "who cares". They're not that important or useful for judging a person or a student.
ReplyDeleteI know that sounds weird, but a test is just a test. It cant measure everything.
NCH
couldn't agree more with the song choice. Very apropos! now on to the waiting game.
