ICan'tContain

It hasn't even been a week and too many things have happened! Yes yes, I have safely arrived here to my homeland safe and sound. The family did too....

Just the 15 hour journey here is a blog post in itself, but I shall summarize what has happened in these last three days. Cause it's been one thing after another.

During the journey here we had such a smooth ride. Korean airlines had provided each passenger with a mini TV. Hooray for free movies! So the Elder Sages and I simply partook of the great bounty of films and food during our flights. Sad to say that our layover in Seoul was pitifully short. Only about 40 minutes and then we were thrown onto yet another long flight to my homeland. It was a great journey filled with laughs and sore rears.

But the real vacation starts when you reach your destination, yeah? Yeah. That's just what happened. Once we arrived home we hugged and kissed our Beloveds and went straight to bed. It was perfect. We arrived at 10 in the evening so I think we wont be suffering from any sort of jetlag. Which works for me just fine. Once the first day at home started I woke up at around 8 in the morning and headed off to a nearby (like 50 paces away) restaurant and acquired some coveted grub that I have been craving for the last two years: rotti canai. A simple dish, but you can't get that where I live so I was super excite. First meal was heavenly; complete with homemade banana fritters....Ohhhh, soooooo yummy.

After that we rested till lunch (cause that's what you do when you vacation) and headed off to a food haven and feasted upon more food. Ahhh, it seems like this trip is going exactly as planned! Once we inhaled our second meal we went to bowl....Yeah, we went bowling! It was a blast, too much fun. After a couple of games we headed off to dinner with the family. That meal by itself encompassed everything from steam fish to tofu to fried rice to to to to to.....Awww man, sorry I was just remembering it.....

Alright, after that exciting day we had yet another jam-packed day. After another meal we went to church! We had an amazing time. It such a cool place; after the service we ate lunch right there! Homeland style church serves lunch right after the message yo. Not just plain old stew, the good stuff, the happy stuff. After that we went....Go-karting, paintballing, and ATVing? Is that what I call it? Yeah, it was pretty crazy. Go-karting.....Ahhh, nothing like riding on a go-kart fit for a 5 foot 8 inch 150 lb. person.....Dude, let's just say that whoever went on my go-kart next had the ride of their life...

When we arrived back home we where greeted by our Auntie from Norway! Along with her husband and my youngest cousin. It was great. Only being my second day I would have to say that it couldn't get better. I am having such a good time. The food.....The food....Can't really describe it. Sorry Dear Readers, I can only say that it is something you have to eat for yourselves. It is just too amazing. I can't wait to see what else this vacation has in store. I honestly can't wait.

The thing is that the message at church was excellent. I just find it cool that even though I traveled across the Pacific I still find God speaking to me. I can't shake the feeling that God is constantly nudging me to follow Him every Sunday. I sit there and listen to such a powerful message that speaks right to me in my own way. It is such a great feeling. Though I am convicted I am also joyful. The very fact that the Holy Spirit is convicting me is proof that I am His. The more I struggle and repent the closer I get to Him. The run is hard; I get tired and sit down, but I don't leave the track. I just keep going; sure, I may slow down or even completely stop, but I keep going....and getting those very helpful piggy-backs from Him. Thanks Pops.

Phooi, that sums up what's up. For now.....I have a feeling a boat load will happen in the next few days, but that's for another post. Take it easy Dear Readers....Cause I am.
