It always bugged me how a store clerk behaves in front of the customer. Some people pull off the "I really care about my customer" act really well. But sometimes you can see them lying through their teeth! It never fails, whenever I go up to the cash register I always hear that phrase, "Will that be all?" What do you want me to say!?!?!?

"Will that be all?"

".....You know what? No. That WILL NOT BE ALL!"

And then just run out the store when the cashier presses the "Total" button on the register. I call that giving them a taste of their own medicine! That isn't the only thing that annoys me.

"Paper or plastic?"

"Dude, stand up for yourself! Can't you decide? This is America! Paper or plastic? How should I know? Make your own judgement and stop wasting my precious time!"

Maybe my time isn't that precious. MAYBE IT IS! If I ever have to work as a cashier I hope I don't snap on the customer or play with his psyche.

"How are you?"

"Good."

"Will that be all?"

"I actually wouldn't mind buying a lottery ticket today."

"Just one?"

"Yeah."

"Feeling lucky, PUNK?"

Or something along those lines. The truth is I applied for a part time job at the Waikoloa Village Market grocery store a couple of days ago. I want to work as a courtesy clerk! Not only for the money, but for the experience of  working at an actual job. Though I probably wont even start working till next year. They seem to be slowing down quite a bit. Well, I humbly ask for your prayers Dear Readers! I want that part time job as soon as possible! Now I know all cashiers mean good. They are just doing their jobs, it is mandatory and company policy to treat the customer with the utmost respect. But don't push it too much guys. Fare thee well, Dear Readers!

"Will that be all?"
