PeopleSkills

A slight moment to consider the time that has transpired. Not a single day goes by where the same promises from yesterday were not met with the morning. To appreciate it, a gift given to those who can comprehend the meaning of responsibility and joy. The rain is treated with resentment, as is the heat of the day. Yet, without these blessings, the land would be too cold, too unloved by the crashing of water. Among the old, the new takes its time to ripen to the age of maturity. How else can the cub forage or the calf graze? Until these bones shatter or these veins run dry, the wind will howl, the young heart will flutter with admiration, and the light of the moon will echo across the bay. When that day arrives. It will cease. Albeit, just for the one who strings these letters across an incorporeal canvas.

Although life beats with enriching study, the heart yearns ever more for the unknown. Words cannot describe the desire to know purpose; a reason to pick up the hand to lift the drowsiness from the eyes. No textbook has attempted to answer these desires and simply dismisses them as impertinent. In lieu of proper explanation, they are riddled with proven theory and discourse of natural science. Fascination is coupled with distraction; an unsightly testament to the virtue of the prowling lion. The morning ends with hunger, while the evening is met with fatigue. How can the mind and body attempt at any resolution when they demand rest? Alas, the cycle continues and has continued for years. Despite the hassles of life, there always seems to be a slight moment to consider the time that has transpired. In this space, a light flickers in the distance. As if it beckons towards the very core of the soul. Caution is aptly considered and advised. For it is said by the wise and old, "Many refuse it, many ignore it, and many more misunderstand it."

Confidence concerning faith assumes truth, but the assumption must instead be challenge. For faith without challenge is darkness, and one of the very duties of faith is to stave it away. Therefore, take faith by the waist and smite it against the rock. Only then can the seed be exposed and be allowed to germinate within the soul. Untested faith lacks steady footing on the sands of life. Logic will not permit this faith any solace, and time will sink it down to tradition. Deliberation and toil must guide faith through the caverns; it is only natural for the heart to doubt. Forget not, be strong and very courageous! Blood may spill and tears may shed, but the sun will rise upon the shadows. And when it does, the peace that can only be described as marvelous will sit upon your shoulders.
