All I am trying to say is that it has gotten a lot quieter! Only two days have transpired since the departure of my beloveds. Most of my dear readers are either laughing or accompanying me to my sanctuary of depression.
Alright, I think I am over this. Typing like a novelist is boring. Typing like how I talk? Realistic and simplistic. Yet profoundly true and accurate. School has started in my house! Applaud, cheer, rejoice, and whatever you fellow Homeschoolers do. Entering into the abyss known as A Beka Academy? Of course. I take it head on like a man. Some of you may not know this organization that ultimately desires to control all sentient life on this plant (For now it is contained to the planet known as Earth); I shall inform you. To put it simply, it is a wonderful school....I can't, lying is wrong. I will be completely honest with you, it is hard.
What? The great Missingnomer admitting that something is hard? Yes. I admit it. You can give me all the practice problems in math, you can give me all the reading assignments that you so desire (Pretty much all subjects have reading assignments), but if you tell me to memorize the works of Alfred, Lord Tennyson I will kindly refuse. That is all.
HaHa--- you have be duped into another year with the infamous A Beka Academy! Makes me think of....bruises? cuts? no....Burns! That's it Burns, as in Robert Burns.
ReplyDelete"My hearts in the highlands my heart is not here, my hearts in the highlands a casing the deer, a chasing the wild deer and following the roe, my hearts in the highlands wherever I go."
A beka academy!!! Horrors upon horrors!!
ReplyDeletenah, just kidding....it was a good place to grow in scholastic knowledge...i mean where else would you learn the diagramming space ship, or the death place of r.l.stevenson, or the distance to the moon? The essential facts of life you know....
Though one good thing I learned as a girl, was never ..ever ..ever!!!...fall in love with a man who has the name of Schmuch! Else you'll be stuck ' smucking' your class to tears of boredom for years on end.....
hooray to freedom and the chance to try something new!!
Ah, my little, lonesome brother. How I pity you! Wait...Hah, hardly! I think you are actually enjoying your solitude and space, but if you (truly) are missing me (forget about Nathan) I hope you know I miss you too.
ReplyDeleteAnd your writing style impresses me. You use words that I would never think of. Every sentence is a riot. ;)
Talk soon.
